Bullpups finish season with win over Titans

by Tina Ratcliff

October 25, 2007

The Bullpups have played a hard, successful season and finished it with a blow-out win against Southern Coffey County with a score of 48-0.  The Bulllpup offense, led by eighth grader Tanner Bybee with an impressive 146 rushing yards, came out fast in the first quarter with Bybee and Seth Woodie both scoring one touchdown each, and Kole Schankie bringing in the 2 point conversions.  Madison’s defense was unbeatable with Woodie and Collin Kile both catching two interceptions each.  The second quarter continued the same scoring pattern with Woodie and Bybee scoring another touchdown each and Schankie bringing in the conversions.  This brought the first half to an end with the score at 28-0.  The Pups didn’t stop their offensive drive as the third quarter hit, with Bybee and Kile bringing in another touchdown each.  The boys finished off the game with Damian Gutierrez scoring the last touchdown, ending the game with a score of 48-0.  Thanks to all the parents and community members for their support in making this such a successful season!
